December 13, 2007. CTFA Board Meeting
The Coalition Board met at the American University of Armenia.
The agenda called for the creation of working groups for further strategic planning. Two working groups were created: (a) a tobacco control policy advocacy/monitoring group and (b) a tobacco control education/awareness group. The working groups started developing a priority list of activities for the upcoming year.

September 20, 2007. CTFA Board Meeting
The Coalition Board met at the American University of Armenia.  The priority on the agenda was the discussion of future working strategies for CTFA. It was suggested that temporary working groups be created to elaborate the Coalition’s strategic plan.

May 18, 2007. CTFA Board Meeting
The Coalition Board meeting took place at the American University of Armenia.  The first item on the agenda was the discussion and coordination of events for World No Tobacco Day, marked as May 31 every year by the World Health Organization.  The first event discussed was a press conference at the UN building to be organized by the MOH Tobacco Control Program Coordinator Alexander Bazarchyan in cooperation with the organizations ADRA and Bazmaket.  ADRA and the Human Health Foundation will also organize an event on Freedom Square, where chocolate bars will be offered in exchange for cigarette packs.  It was suggested that coalition members participate in these events and organize other activities dedicated to this day.
A preliminary agenda was presented for the 2nd International Medical Congress of Armenia, to be held on June 28-30.  It was announced that participation in this section of the congress would be sponsored by the event organizers.

April 5, 2007. CTFA Board Meeting
The Coalition Board meeting took place at the American University of Armenia. The agenda included a summation of the results obtained from the CTFA Second National Meeting.  The meeting was assessed positively and was considered to have contributed to stronger ties among NGOs in this area.  Suggestions for improvement included better participation from state bodies as well as a broader educational component.
Four membership applications were discussed and accepted – Healthy Generation of Mountaineers, Meghvik, Community Development and Social Support Center and Armtown.com.
On behalf of the Armenian Public Health Alliance, Narine Movsisyan invited the member-organizations to participate in the Workshop on Smoking Cessation within the framework of the 2nd  International Medical Congress of Armenia to be held on June 28-30.

February 2, 2007. CTFA Board Meeting
The Coalition Board meeting took place at the American University of Armenia.  Plans were undertaken for the CTFA Second National Meeting, to be held on March 2.  The National Meeting will include tobacco control policy workshop.  A compilation of information about anti-tobacco projects organized in the period 2004-2006 will also be published for this event.  Another component of the National Meeting will be the exhibition of materials produced by NGOs as part of their activities in the same time period.  An organizing committee was established to coordinate and finalize these issues.
